Formed in August 2006, The Stevie K Band is a fusion of rock, blues and jazz, in which one moment you could be listening to a heavy rock track, the next a swinging shuffle, as well as some funk-esque tunes.
Inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, Eric Gales, Chris Cain and many more, The Stevie K Band is where it's at for fans of riff-based rock.
Made up of experienced musicians playing music that they enjoy, music that can be both challenging and rewarding to play, it is a band playing what they want, and this will always ensure an exciting live performance and high energy recordings.

Guitar & Vocals |

Playing guitar since the age of ten, Stevie K performed his first gig in 1992 aged just 12, initially inspired by ZZ top. By age 15 he was writing his own songs and together with school friends formed the rap/rock band 'Skua'. In 1999 Stevie joined the signed metal band 'Fister' and toured throughout that year. In 2000 Skua was reformed with new members and with Stevie singing. After a brief reunion with the original Skua line up in 2002 Stevie went on to join Goodmanray who toured to great success and released several EP's produced by Stevie.
Over the years, Stevie K has had many notable acheivements in music, working with a Sony-signed female rapper in 2001/02 as songwriter/guitarist, playing on MTV and TV in the USA. He also wrote and peformed in the rap/rock band Terra who alongside Korn and Snoop Dog had a song (written by Stevie) used by Xbox for a computer game advertising campaign.
In 2004 Stevie moved his focus away from hard rock to concentrate on his blues music. A natural blues player from his early years, inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, Eric Gales, Chris Cain and many others, Stevie's creative and performance ability is obvious.
The burning desire to create a rock/blues/jazz fusion band became a reality when he formed the Stevie K Band with Stef Russo and Brendan Bensley.
